Seat
Correct sitting posture
Seat, headrest, safety belt and air bag
assist to protect the passengers and
provide you will multi-protection if
utilized sufficiently. Therefore, please
abide by following items:
y Adopt vertical sitting posture; the
lower end of back should lean
backward as far as possible with the
seatback inclination no more than
25
o
.
y Adjust the headrest properly to level
the top end of headrest to the head
top.
y DO NOT make the front seat close to
the dashboard too much. Grasp the
steering wheel with slightly bended
arm during driving. The foot should
also be slightly bended so that it is
capable of stepping down the pedal
to the bottom.
y The seat shoulder safety belt should
cline and pass aslant through the
chest after passing through the
middle of external shoulder. DO
NOT pass the safety belt through the
neck; the waist safety belt should
cline transversely through the hip
instead of the stomach.
Driver side seat adjustment
There is a adjustment knob inside the
driver side seat cushion with a adjustment
handle in the front lower part. The detailed
functions are as below:
Knob: Used for adjusting the angle of seat
backrest.
y Turn the knob clockwise with hand
and the angle of seat backrest
reduces; turn the knob
counterclockwise and the angle
increases.
Handle: Used for adjusting the distance
between the seat and steering wheel.
y Pull the handle upward to slide the
seat forward or backward, adjust the
distance between the seat and
steering wheel.
Adjusting the seat during
driving may lead to the
vehicle out of control that
may result accident. Therefore, DO
NOT adjust the seat during driving.
