Function description of external lighting
Front fog lamp
When following conditions are met, BCM will turn on front fog lamp (BCM
controls front fog lamp external relay via low-side drive):
① Ignition key at ON
② Parking lamp on
③ Front fog lamp switch turned on (latching switch)
When the front fog lamp is lit, BCM will send CAN signal Front Fog Light Sts=1
to body CAN.
Rear fog lamp
When following conditions are met, BCM will turn on rear fog lamp (BCM outputs
high voltage and internal relay inputs high voltage):
① Ignition key at ON
② Parking lamp on
③ Front fog lamp switch or low beam lamp turned on
④ Rear fog lamp switch turned on (rear fog lamp switch is inching switch)
When the rear fog lamp is lit, BCM will send CAN signal Rear Fog Light Sts=1
to body CAN.
