50 Storage
Do not put any loose objects in the
vehicle.
Do not drive with the trunk open.
Driving with a roof load increases
the sensitivity of the vehicle to
cross-winds and has a detrimental
effect on vehicle handling due to
the vehicle's higher center of grav-
ity. Distribute the load evenly and
secure it properly with retaining
straps. Adjust the tire pressure and
vehicle speed according to the load
conditions. Check and retighten the
straps frequently. Do not exceed the
maximum vehicle capacity when
loading the vehicle.
Warning
Do not place lighters, propane bottles
or other flammable/explosive materi-
als in the vehicle. These materials
could catch fire and/or explode when
exposed to high temperatures for a
long time.
