an uphill slope, turn the front
wheels away from the kerb.
If the vehicle is on a downhill slope
engage reverse gear before
switching off the ignition. Turn the
front wheels towards the kerb.
■ Close the windows.
■ Lock the vehicle and activate the
anti-theft alarm system.

Before parking the vehicle, be sure
the ground does not contain any
flammable material like grass,
shrubs, fuel drops, etc. The exhaust
engine is heated and can lead to a
fire.

Flammable objects could touch
hot exhaust parts under your
vehicle and ignite. Do not park
over papers, leaves, dry grass or
other things that can burn.

Engine exhaust gases contain
poisonous carbon monoxide,
which is colourless and odourless
and could be fatal if inhaled.
If exhaust gases enter the interior
of the vehicle, open the windows.
Have the cause of the fault
rectified by a Chevrolet dealer.
Avoid driving with load
compartment open, as exhaust
gases could enter the vehicle.
