Move selector lever to position M.
Press the shift gear button located on
the selector lever.
UUPP ((++)): to shift to higher gear.
DDOOWWNN ((--)):: to shift to lower gear.
To maintain the required levels of
vehicle performance and safety, the
system may not execute certain
gearshifts when the selector lever is
operated.
In manual mode, downshifts are
made automatically when the vehicle
slows down. When the vehicle stops,
1st gear is automatically selected.
In order to provide more engine
torque in any emergency situation,
downshifts can also occur if the
accelerator pedal is completely
pressed down. Upshifts are also
possible if the engine rotation
reaches the maximum admissible
speed (cut-off).

To utilise the engine braking effect,
select a lower gear when driving
downhill.
RRoocckkiinngg tthhee vveehhiiccllee
Rocking the vehicle is only
permissible if the vehicle is stuck in
sand, mud or snow. Move the selector
lever between DD and RR in a repeated
pattern. Do not race the engine.

Apply the parking brake, engage PP
and remove the ignition key.

pprrooggrraammmmeess
Following a cold start, the operating
temperature programme increases
engine speed to bring the catalytic
converter quickly to the required
temperature.
KKiicckkddoowwnn
If the accelerator pedal is completely
pressed down, depending on the
engine speed, the transmission shifts
to a lower gear.
FFaauulltt
In the event of a fault, the malfunction
indicator light illuminates. The
transmission will no longer shift
automatically or manually because it
is locked in a certain gear.
Have the cause
of the fault rectified
by Chevrolet dealer.
