The alarm can be silenced by
pressing any button on the radio
remote control or by switching on the
ignition.

If none of the doors are opened or the
ignition key is not turned to position
11 or position 22 within few minutes after
deactivating the alarm using the radio
remote control, the anti-theft alarm
system is reactivated automatically.
This feature is disabled as defaut and
it is set together with "Auto door
relock" function.
Settings can be changed in the
Infotainment menu.

The system is integrated into the
ignition switch and checks whether
the vehicle is allowed to start with the
key being used. If the transponder in
the key is recognised, the vehicle can
be started.
The immobiliser activates itself
automatically after the key has been
removed from the ignition switch.
If the control indicator flashes or
illuminates when the ignition is on,
there is a failure in the system and the
engine cannot be started. Switch off
the ignition and then repeat the start
attempt.
If the control indicator continues
flashing or illuminating, attempt to
start the engine using the spare key
and seek the assistance of Chevrolet
dealers.

vehicle after leaving it and switch on
the anti-theft alarm system 21,
