Top Digital Video Baby Monitor
The Top Digital Video Baby Monitor al-
lows you to see your child at all times
and communicate with them thanks
to two-way communication. Using
the large (3-inch) touchscreen display,
you can access the internal menu and
enlarge the image of the child up to
twice the normal size, thanks to the
video camera’s digital zoom, set the
date, time, 5 reminders and voice ac-
tivation and select the brightness of
the image on the display. In addition,
you can organise the unit’s internal
contact list in which you can store
useful numbers. The child unit allows
you to play 6 stored lullabies or your
preferred music by connecting to an
MP3 player (not included) via the au-
dio cable (included in the package), to
display the temperature reading in the
baby’s room and to reassure the baby
during sleep thanks to the small night
light. The ability to take pictures and
record videos allows you to store and
relive the most memorable moments
of your child’s growth on the parent
unit.
The digital technology ensures zero
interference* and exclusivity of com-
munication between the units.
Both units (parent and child) can run
on batteries (including a rechargeable
lithium battery for the parent unit) or
by means of the mains adapter (two
included).

GENERAL WARNINGS
• Do not leave any packaging materi-
als (plastic bags, cardboard boxes etc.)
within the reach of children as these
can be hazardous.
• Before using the appliance, check
that neither the product nor its com-
ponents are damaged. If there is any
damage, do not use the product and
contact a qualified technician or your
retailer.
• Never attempt to repair the product,
but simply follow the instructions pro-
vided in the “Troubleshooting” sec-
tion. Contact Artsana S.p.A. Customer
Service for repairs.

• Do not open the units. The child unit
(primarily in image and sound trans-
mitter mode), the parent unit (primar-
ily in image and sound receiver mode),
the rechargeable lithium-ion battery
and the mains adapters do not contain
any user serviceable parts. Contact
skilled technical personnel or Artsana
S.p.A. Customer Service in the event of
a fault. Opening the above-mentioned
appliances can cause electric shock.
• The Chicco Top Digital Video Baby
Monitor should not be used as a medi-
cal monitor and is not intended to
replace the supervision of children by
adults. It is designed to provide sup-
port in monitoring them. All other use
is to be considered improper.
• Place the child unit and parent unit
out of the reach of the child on a flat,
stable surface.
• Keep the child unit, the parent unit,
the rechargeable lithium-ion battery
and the AC/DC mains adapters out of
the reach of children (mains adapter
cords could cause strangulation).
• It is important to make regular
checks to ensure the child unit (pri-
marily in image and sound transmitter
mode) and the parent unit (primarily
in image and sound receiver mode) are
working correctly, particularly before
each use, checking that signal recep-
tion is possible in the area and at the
maximum intended distance of use.
• The maximum operating distance is
around 150 metres in an open space
without obstacles (this range could be
reduced considerably indoors accord-
ing to particular environmental situ-
ations: the layout of walls and furni-
