In this conguration the child car seat is clas-
sied for UNIVERSAL use. The child mass
group and ISOFIX size class for which the child
restraint may be used in this conguration are:
GROUP 1, class B1.

WARNING! When using ISOFIX, the attach-
ment of the lower anchorage systems is not
sucient. It is also essential to attach the “Top
Tether” to the anchorage point made available
by the vehicle manufacturer.

This is a ‘Universal’ child retention device, ho-
mologated according to ECE Regulation no.
44, amendments of series 04. suitable for gen-
eral use in vehicles and compatible with most
but not all vehicles' seats.

turer has declared that the vehicle is capable
of tting a “Universal” child restraint for this age
group.
3. This child restraint device has been classied
as “Universal” under more stringent conditions
than those that were applied to earlier designs
that do not display this notice.
4. Suitable exclusively to be used in vehi-
cles equipped with 3-point safety harnesses,
whether static or with winder, approved ac-
cording to UN/ECE Regulation no. 16 or other
equivalent standards.

This child restraint system is classied as
SEMI-UNIVERSAL according to Regulation No.
ECER44/04 and is only compatible with the ve-
hicles indicated in the “List of vehicles”;

1.4 RESTRICTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
REGARDING THE USE OF THE PRODUCT
AND VEHICLE SEAT
WARNING! Strictly comply with the following
restrictions and requirements for use concern-
ing the product and vehicle seat: safety will
not be guaranteed otherwise.
• This Car Seat is type-approved for use with
children who weigh from 0 to 36 kg (from birth
until roughly 12 years of age).
• The vehicle’s seat must be equipped with
3-point safety harness, whether static or with
a retractor, approved according to UN/ECE
Regulation no. 16 or other equivalent stand-
ards (Fig. 1).
WARNING! Never t the child car seat to a ve-
hicle seat that is only equipped with a 2-point
safety belt (Fig. 2).
In the Group 0+ conguration (0-13 kg) the
Car Seat may only be xed to the front seat if
the airbag has been deactivated.
Never use this child car seat on rear-facing or
side-facing car seats (Fig. 3).
• This product is expressly intended to be used
only as a child car seat; it is not meant for use
indoors.
• It may happen that the vehicle seat belt
buckle is too long and exceeds the expected
height above the bottom of the car seat (Fig.
4A-4B). In this case the seat must not be xed
on that seat but must be installed on another
seat on which there is no problem. For more
