Overview

The Circle Fitness Sp7 (Premium version) Indoor Cycle is a fitness machine designed for indoor cycling, emphasizing a "Stay Young" philosophy. This owner's manual provides comprehensive instructions for assembly, safe operation, and maintenance of the bike.

Function Description:

The Sp7 Indoor Cycle is a stationary exercise bike that simulates outdoor cycling. It allows users to engage in cardiovascular workouts, improve endurance, and strengthen lower body muscles. The bike features adjustable resistance levels, enabling users to customize the intensity of their workouts from light to challenging. It is equipped with a console that displays various exercise metrics, helping users track their progress and optimize their training. The design prioritizes user safety and comfort, with adjustable components to accommodate different body types.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Maximum User Weight: 150 kilograms (330 lbs).
  • Resistance Levels: 1-16, adjustable via a red lever on the tension knob.
  • Pedals: Marked L (left) and R (right) for correct installation, designed to continue spinning when pedaling stops (no free-wheel).
  • Console Display: LCD, showing TIME, CAL (calories), RPM, SPEED (KPH/MPH), PULSE (BPM), WATT, and DIST (distance in km/mile).
  • Console Power: 2 AA or 2 UM-3 batteries.
  • Working Temperature: 0℃~50℃.
  • Storage Temperature: -10℃~60℃.
  • Required Space for Use: An area of 2000 x 1000 mm (approximately 6.5 x 3.3 feet) free from obstacles behind the exercise bike.
  • Assembly: Requires specific tools (wrench provided) and adherence to detailed instructions.

Usage Features:

  • Adjustable Resistance: The exercise resistance is controlled by a RED LEVER (51) on the Tension knob (24), offering 16 levels. Loosening the knob reduces resistance (Level 1), while tightening it increases resistance.
  • Emergency Brake: Pushing the RED lever (51) of the Tension knob (24) forward completely stops the bike instantly.
  • Adjustable Handlebar: The handlebar post (22) can be adjusted vertically by loosening and retightening the release lever (6). The handlebar slider (23) allows for horizontal adjustment (forwards/backwards) by loosening the release lever (17). Users must ensure components are securely tightened and pay attention to the "MIN INSERT" mark for safety.
  • Adjustable Seat: The saddle (1) is attached to the seat slider (42), which can be adjusted horizontally. The seat post (43) allows for vertical adjustment. Both adjustments require loosening and retightening release levers (6) and ensuring secure fastening, observing the "MIN INSERT" mark.
  • Stability: Foot tube adjuster pads (13) allow for height adjustment to ensure stability on uneven floors.
  • Portability: Moving wheels (39) located on the front foot tube facilitate easy relocation of the machine.
  • Console Operation:
    • Auto ON/OFF: The monitor automatically turns on when exercise starts and off after 2 minutes of inactivity, clearing all exercise data.
    • Battery Replacement: Requires 2 AA or UM-3 batteries. If the LCD shows a partial display after replacement, batteries should be removed for 15 seconds and reinserted.
    • ENTER/RESET Key: Selects functions for setting TIME and DISTANCE, confirms set values, and clears all previous exercise data (by pressing for 2 seconds).
    • UP Key: Switches display functions (CAL, RPM, SPEED, PULSE, WATT, DIST) and increases setting values for TIME and DISTANCE (TIME increases by 5-minute increments from a minimum of 5 minutes).
    • DOWN Key: Switches between MAX and AVG displays and decreases setting values for TIME and DISTANCE (DISTANCE decreases by 1 km or mile increments from a minimum of 1 km or mile).
    • UP+DOWN Key (simultaneous press): Deletes data (by pressing for 3 seconds).
    • Display Metrics:
      • TIME: Counts up automatically (00:00:00~99:59:59) or counts down from a set value (5:00~99:55:00).
      • SPEED: Displays current, average, and maximum speed (0.0 ~ 99.9 KPH/MPH).
      • RPM: Displays current, average, and maximum RPM (15 ~ 999).
      • DISTANCE: Counts up automatically (0.0~999.9 km/mile) or counts down from a set value (1.0~999.0 km/mile).
      • CALORIE: Displays K/Cal (0.0~9999).
      • LEVEL: Automatically detects and displays resistance level (1~16).
      • WATT: Displays power output (0~999).
      • PULSE: Displays current, average, and maximum heart rate (40~200 BPM), showing "P" after 16 seconds of no heart rate measurement.
  • Pedal Installation: Right pedal tightens clockwise, left pedal tightens counter-clockwise. Always tighten by hand first, then securely with a wrench. Riding the bike backward may loosen pedals and damage threads.
