Step 3 Connect the other end of the cable used in Step 2 to one of the RJ-48c receptacles on the
DS3/2DS3+8xT1 IMA I/O card located on the subtended node chassis backplane.
Step 4 Repeat Step 1 through Step 3 for each subtending host chassis.
Note Verify that the RJ-48 cable pinouts connect transmit to receive and receive to transmit. For more
information on the RJ-48c receptacle pinouts, see the “Pinouts for the DS3/2DS3+8xT1 IMA
I/O Card RJ-48c Receptacles” section on page C-4.
