Step 8. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port of the PoE switch.
Step 9. Check the lights on both the WAP571E and the PoE switch.
Verify the WAP571/WAP571E with PoE Connection
To verify the hardware installation, follow these instructions:
Check the cable connections.
Check the indicator lights.

Off The access point is off
Solid (Green)
The access point is normal; No wireless client is
connected
Solid (Blue)
The access point is normal; at least one wireless
client is connected
Flashing (Blue) The access point is upgrading the firmware.
Solid (Red)
The access point fails to boot with both firmware
images.
LAN
(WAP571)
Off
No Ethernet link; FE Ethernet link is active or 10
Mbps.
Solid Green GE Ethernet link is active.
Flashing Green The access point is transmitting or receiving data.
