I can't
connect
to
the
Internet.
Check
that
your router
is
powered on. Make sure the Power
LED
is
on and
not
blinking. Power
down
everything, and
power on each device in the following order:
1.
Cable
or
DSL
modem
2.
Router
3.
PC
Check that everything
is
connected properly. The
PC
should be
connected
to
the ports numbered
1-4
on the router, and the
modem must be connected
to
the Internet
port
on the router.
I have DSL
and
I can
no
longer
dial
in
to
access
the
Internet.
After you have installed your router, the router will
automatically dial in
to
your Internet Service Provider
(ISP),
so
you no longer need
to
dial in manually.
My
modem
does
not
have
an
Ethernet
port.
You
must have a high speed Internet connection in order
to
use
the router. The router will
not
work
with
traditional dial-up
service.
The
telephone
line
doesn't
fit
into
the
router's
Internet
port.
The router does
not
replace your modem.
You
will still need
your
DSL
modem in order
to
use the router. Connect your
telephone line back into the
DSL
modem, insert the setup
CD
into your
PC,
click
Setup
and follow the on-screen instructions.
