The Electronic Gearbox System gives you the choice of two driving
modes:
Automatic mode.
Manual mode with two control possibilities: The controls under the steer-
ing wheel

and the selection lever

on the central console.

Dashboard display
The gear engaged and the
mode
“AUTO”
are displayed
on the instrument panel, even if
the ignition is switched off, when
for example a door is opened.
The foot-on-brake warning lamp
fl ashes to indicate the neces-
sity to press the brake pedal, in
order to start the engine or to
engage reverse gear.

With the ignition switched on, simultaneous fl ashing of the
