areclean.

Air filter and passenger compartment filter
Replacetheoilfiltereachtimethe
engineoilischanged.

Oil filter
Unlessotherwiseindicated,checkthesecomponentsinaccordancewiththemanufacturer'sservicescheduleandaccordingtoyourengine.
Otherwise,havethemcheckedbyaCITROËNdealeroraqualifiedworkshop.
Dependingontheenvironment(e.g.dusty
atmosphere)andtheuseofthevehicle
(e.g.citydriving),replace them twice as often
if necessary.
Acloggedpassengercompartmentfiltermay
haveanadverseeffectontheperformance
oftheairconditioningsystemandgenerate
undesirableodours.
Particle filter (Diesel)
The start of saturation of the
particlefilterisindicatedbythe
fixedilluminationofthiswarning
lampaccompaniedbyawarning
message.
Assoonasthetrafficconditionspermit,
regeneratethefilterbydrivingataspeedofat
least40mph(60km/h)untilthewarninglamp
goesoff.
Ifthewarninglampstayson,thisindicatesa
lowadditivelevel.

On a new vehicle, the first particle
filterregenerationoperationsmaybe
accompaniedbya"burning"smell,
whichisperfectlynormal.
Followingprolongedoperationofthe
vehicleatverylowspeedoratidle,
youmay,inexceptionalcircumstances,
noticetheemissionofwatervapourat
theexhaustonacceleration.Thisdoes
not affect the behaviour of the vehicle
ortheenvironment.

battery,refertothecorrespondingsectionfor
detailsoftheprecautionstobetakenbefore
startingwork.
VersionsequippedwithStop&Startare
fittedwitha12Vlead-acidbatteryof
specifictechnologyandspecification.
