risksordriveathighspeed.
Thecorrectoperationofthesystem
dependsonobservationofthe
manufacturer'srecommendations
regardingthewheels(tyresandrims),
thebrakingcomponents,theelectronic
componentsandtheCITROËN
assemblyandoperationprocedures.
Afteranimpact,havethesystem
checkedbyaCITROËNdealerora
qualifiedworkshop.
Activation
Thesesystemsareactivatedautomatically
eachtimethevehicleisstarted.
Assoonastheydetectaproblemofgripor
trajectory,thesesystemsactontheoperationif
theengineandbrakes.
Deactivation
Inexceptionalconditions(startingavehicle
whichisboggeddown,stuckinsnow,onsoft
ground...),itmaybeadvisabletodeactivate
theDSCsystem,sothatthewheelscanmove
freelyandregaingrip.
Thisisindicatedbyflashingofthis
warninglampintheinstrumentpanel.
Operating fault
Butitisrecommendedthatthesystembe
reactivatedassoonaspossible.

dependingonversion,
turntheknobtothis
position.
Theindicatorlampinthebuttonorthe
knobcomeson:theDSCsystemno
longeractsontheoperationoftheengine.
Reactivation
Thesystemisreactivatedautomaticallyeach
timetheignitionisswitchedbackonorfrom
30mph(50km/h).
F Pressthebuttonagain
toreactivateitmanually.
Ifthiswarninglampcomeson,
accompaniedbyanaudiblesignal
andamessageinthescreen,this
indicatesafaultwiththesystem.
