Positions
P: Park.
R: Reverse.
N: Neutral.
D: Automatic mode.
M: Sequential mode.
The automatic gearbox offers:
- Operation in auto-active mode ,
with automatic adaptation to your
style of driving as well as to the road
profi le ( Position D ).
- Operation in sequential mode , with
manual gear changing ( Position M ).

The gear lever can only be disen-
gaged from position P if you are
pressing the brake pedal .
When a door is opened, there is an
audible signal if the gear lever is not
in position P .
In all circumstances, ensure that
that position P is selected before
leaving the vehicle.
