• Read theinstruction manual carefully before using thefan. Theinstruction
manual contains important safety and operating instructions.
• Risk of electric shock! Never attempt to repair thefan yourself. Let all repairs be
carried out by qualified service personnel.
• Warning: Never immerse thefan in water or other liquid. Never hold thefan
under running water.
• Warning: Risk of personal injury! In order to avoid personal injury and damage
to thefan, hold your hands, hair, clothing and other objects agood distance away
from theprotective fan grille during use.
• Warning: Risk of personal injury! Never operate thefan if its safety grille is
improperly fitted, missing or damaged. Thesafety grille must be intact and
correctly fitted whenever thefan is in use.
• Save theinstruction manual for future reference. If thefan is to be used by any
third party, ensure that theinstruction manual always accompanies it.
• Ensure that thevoltage at thewall outlet corresponds to thevoltage marked on
therating plate of thefan.
• Thefan is only intended for domestic use and only in themanner described in this
instruction manual.
• Thefan is designed for indoor use only. Do not use thefan in thebathroom or in
other areas where therisk of exposure to moisture and water is astrong possibility.
• Make sure that themains cable is not crushed, bent, pulled over sharp corners/
edges or risks being damaged in any other foreseeable way. Keep themains lead
away from hot surfaces and naked flames. Never allow themains lead to come
into contact with therotating fan blades.
• Run themains lead in such away that there is no risk of any one tripping over it.
• If anextension lead is used, ensure that it is suitable for use with thefan.
• Never handle or use thefan with wet hands or if it is placed on awet surface.
Never handle themains lead with wet or moist hands.
• Never open thecasing. Never attempt to insert foreign objects into any of
theopenings in thecasing or thesafety grille.
• Only use accessories that are recommended by themanufacturer or retailer.
Only use original spare parts and accessories.
