Clevertest Plus
Refer to the supplementary operation guide supplied with the Product.
After Power ON, the Status LED on a Clevertest Plus enabled fitting will display a rapid Green or Red
flashing for a period up to 2 minutes.
Zoneworks, HIVE and DATA Monitored Options
Fittings with part numbers -ZW, -HVG, -DATA are fitted with Zoneworks communications modules
(nodes). These fittings are monitored using either Powerline Carrier Technology that utilize the power
cable to provide data communication, RF transceiver modules operating in the ISM band or a dedicated
data cable to/from data routers installed on a dedicated data trunk connected to a central Server (can also
be connected via Ethernet/Internet/Fibre). Zoneworks software on the server is used to monitor,
coordinate testing and collate test data from each fitting. Zoneworks Fittings can be commissioned by a
single push of the test switch or by scanning the supplied barcode. The LED Test Switch indicator provides
a multifunction indication of the status of the fitting during testing and normal operation:

In the case of the DATA version a 2-way “figure 8” cable and terminal block facilitates the connection to
the DATA network via a multi-drop bus (daisy chain connection). For further information of installation of
a Zoneworks system, please refer to the Zoneworks Users Guide and Commissioning Guide (incl. DATA
version)
DALI EM Option
Luminaires with part numbers having -DALI are fitted with DALI modules (nodes) that facilitate
connection and integration to 3rd Party Lighting Control Systems. Before installing the -DALI fitting
please confirm that the Lighting Control System has the capability to monitor DALI Emergency
Luminaires. The -DALI fitting will be addressed and configured into the control system by the Lighting
Control System Commissioning Technicians and not Clevertronics

The Cleverfit Pro LED Exit is an emergency lighting luminaire designed for both ceiling and wall mounting. It utilizes a "slide connect bracket base" for easy installation, allowing the main body to be installed after the base is wired to prevent damage during construction.

Function Description:

The Cleverfit Pro LED Exit is an emergency lighting fixture that provides illumination during power failures. It is available in several configurations, including standard, Zoneworks, HIVE, DATA, and DALI enabled options, offering various monitoring and control capabilities.

Standard Operation:

Upon power-on, the Status LED on a Clevertest Plus enabled fitting will flash rapidly green or red for up to 2 minutes. In normal operation, the LED indicates the status of the fitting, including commissioning status, battery charge, and test progress.

Zoneworks, HIVE, and DATA Monitored Options:

Fittings with part numbers -ZW, -HVG, -DATA are equipped with Zoneworks communications modules. These modules enable monitoring and control via Powerline Carrier Technology (using power cables), RF transceivers (ISM band), or dedicated data cables connected to a central server. Zoneworks software allows for monitoring, coordinating testing, and collating test data. Commissioning can be done by pressing the test switch or scanning a barcode.

For DATA versions, a 2-way "figure 8" cable and terminal block facilitate connection to the DATA network via a multi-drop bus (daisy chain).

DALI EM Option:

Luminaires with part numbers including -DALI are fitted with DALI modules for connection and integration with 3rd Party Lighting Control Systems. Users must confirm that their Lighting Control System supports DALI Emergency Luminaires. The DALI fitting is addressed and configured by the Lighting Control System Commissioning Technicians.

• Commissioned/Un-commissioned: LED on Solid (Green).
• Emergency Light Test in progress: LED flashes at 1s On (Yellow) & 1s Off.
• "IDENTIFY COMMAND": Lamp and Status LED Flash for 30 seconds.

DALI connections are marked as Da Da and can use a 2-way "figure 8" cable and terminal block or a 5/6-way "structured wiring system" lead and plug.

Important Technical Specifications:

• Models: LCFPRO-xx (where xx indicates the specific configuration: Blank for Manual Test, ZW for Zoneworks, DATA for Z/W DATA, HVG for Zoneworks HIVE, DALI for DALI Registered).

• Battery: Li-ion battery, designed for excellent long-life performance in a controlled IEC 60598-2-22 testing environment.
• Insulation: Reinforced insulation between control/LED terminal and AC supply.
• Light Source: Non-user replaceable LED.

Usage Features:

• Installation: The luminaire can be ceiling or wall mounted. The "slide connect bracket base" simplifies installation, allowing the main body to be installed later.
• Commissioning: Zoneworks fittings can be commissioned via a test switch or barcode scan.
• Testing Procedure:
  • After initial connection to an un-switched active supply, the unit must charge for at least 24 hours.
  • The emergency lamp should illuminate for at least 180 minutes after disconnection from the mains. If it fails, remedial action and a subsequent test are required.
  • Press and hold the Test Button or switch Off Mains Supply to check if the emergency lamp turns On.
  • Release the Test Button or switch On Mains Supply to check if the emergency lamp turns Off (for non-maintained operation).

Maintenance Features:

• Battery Replacement:
  1. Isolate power to the luminaire.
  2. Remove the fitting from its mounting bracket.
  3. Remove the Emergency Driver cover and disconnect the battery connector.
  4. Remove the battery from its holder (cut cable tie).
  5. Replace the battery (secure with a new cable tie) and connect to the Emergency Driver.
  6. Reinstall the fitting onto the mounting bracket.

Troubleshooting:

• Green LED Test Switch indicator not illuminated:
  • Check if AC is connected and on.
  • Check if the battery is connected.
  • Check the Test Switch for damage.
• Lamp does not illuminate in emergency mode:
  • Check if AC is connected.
  • Check if the lamp is correctly inserted.
  • Check if the battery is connected.
• Lamp illuminates in emergency mode, but only stays on for a short period:
  • Check if the battery has been allowed to charge for at least 24 hours.
  • Check the battery for damage.

Important Notes:

• Installation and maintenance must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with relevant British Standards.
• Excessive battery cycling due to uncontrolled power cuts on building sites can reduce through-life performance and lead to premature battery failure. Battery warranty claims resulting from such abuse are specifically EXCLUDED from Clevertronics warranty terms.
• The light source and battery are non-user replaceable and should be replaced by Clevertronics service personnel/agents or a registered electrician if required.
