How to fix a Club Car Utility Vehicle when the engine does not start easily?
- WwalterronaldAug 19, 2025
If your Club Car Utility Vehicle's engine isn't starting easily, several factors could be at play. A partially fouled or poor condition spark plug could be the culprit, so check and replace it if needed. Damaged or loose spark plug wires can also cause this issue; inspect and replace them if necessary. Other potential causes include loose wire connections at the ignition coil or RPM limiter, intermittent ignition coil failure, or low cylinder compression. Also, water or dirt in the fuel system or carburetor, a dirty or clogged fuel filter, an improperly adjusted carburetor, or a slipping starter/generator belt can prevent easy starting. Drain the fuel system, clean or replace the fuel filter, adjust the carburetor settings, or adjust the belt tension to resolve these issues.
