Why won't my CO/Tech IE40F-5A Water Pump engine start?
    • K
      Karen PowellAug 2, 2025
There are several reasons why your CO/Tech Water Pump engine might not start. It could be due to an open choke (close the choke unless the engine is warm), the throttle lever being in the wrong position (put it in the starting position), a fuel fault (refill with new fuel), bad or old fuel (empty the tank and carburetor and refill with new fuel), a faulty spark plug or incorrect electrode spacing (change the spark plug), or a moist spark plug (wipe it off, put it back, turn the throttle lever to “Full throttle” and the choke to “Open”).

What to do if there is no water coming from my CO/Tech IE40F-5A Water Pump?
    • S
      Shannon HillAug 9, 2025
If no water is coming from your CO/Tech Water Pump, it could be due to several reasons. The pump housing may not be filled with water (put in water), the suction hose could be damaged or leaking (change the suction hose), the inlet filter might not be completely submerged (lower the inlet filter and ensure it stays submerged), the suction connection could be leaking (check the gasket, tighten the connection and hose clip), the inlet filter might be clogged (clean the inlet filter), or the total head might be too high (change the placement of the pump and/or hoses).

Why does my CO/Tech Water Pump engine have no power?
    • J
      Jordan MillerAug 17, 2025
Your CO/Tech Water Pump engine may lack power due to a clogged filter (wash the air filter), old or bad fuel (empty the tank and carburetor and refill with new fuel). If these steps don't resolve the issue, the engine may have a fault, and you should take the pump to an authorized machine shop.

How to fix low flow in my CO/Tech Water Pump?
    • E
      Emily GonzalesAug 25, 2025
If the flow of your CO/Tech Water Pump is too low, it could be due to several factors: the throttle lever might be in the wrong position (put throttle lever to “Full throttle”), the suction hose may be damaged, leaking, or too long, or the diameter is too small (check the suction hose), there could be a leaking suction connection (check that the gasket is fitted and intact, tighten the connection and the hose clip), the inlet filter might be partly clogged (clean the inlet filter), the hose may be damaged, too long, or the diameter is too small (change the hose), or the total head is almost at maximum (change the placement of the pump and/or hoses).
