Operating Information
Always roll the curtains instead of folding when
storing. Do not use the canopy top, side curtains
and stern curtain for storage. These are for short
term storage and not designed for long term
storage, and will not provide adequate ventilation to
prevent mold or mildew from forming. Refer to
Section 5, Interior and Exterior Care for
information on care. For long term storage, see
your authorized Cobalt dealer.
SKI TOW PYLON -
REMOVABLE
Remove ski pylon from starboard motor box
storage compartment by pulling the lock button
outward and opening the hold down bracket.
To install:
• Insert ski pylon into the base on swim platform
with rope “finger” pointed to starboard. Push
pylon down and rotate 1/4 turn clockwise to
lock in place.
• Press cover plate post onto pylon ring and
make sure pylon is secure.
To re m ove :
• Release the cover plate from the pylon ring,
pull up and rotate pylon 1/4 turn
counter-clockwise to remove.
• Return the ski pylon back to its hold down
bracket. Make sure the hold down bracket is
secure.
SS ARCH WITH BIMINI
INSTRUCTIONS - OPTIONAL
To set up bimini from the stored position:
1. Unzip the canvas boot from the bimini and arch.
2. Zip the aft edge of the bimini to the forward
tubing of the arch.
3. Install two forward support bars and tighten the
bimini by twisting the tensioners.
A DANGER
To avoid injury or death, do not overload
the pylon or use it for anything other
than watersports. The ski tow pylon
maximum load is 1,000 lbs. (454 kg).
NOTICE: To prevent damage to
the motor box, the ski pylon
must be removed before
opening.
CAUTION
The arch with bimini is designed for
Cobalt factory installed equipment only.
Do not add any additional equipment
without authorization from Cobalt.
A DANGER
To avoid injury or death, do not use the
arch for watersports, towing or as a
support. It is not designed to hold the
additional weight.
