ANTENNA
SAFETY
MPE
(Maximum
Permissible Exposure)
minimum
distance
for
CB
antennas used
with
this radio:
The antenna used
with
this transceiver must be
properly
installed and
maintained
and
must
provide
a safe separation distance
from
all persons and
the
antenna
must
not
be co-located
or
operated
in
conjunction
with
any
other
antenna
or
transmitter.
For example: an antenna
with
a gain
of
O dBi requires a
minimum
safe
separation distance
of
12 inches
(31
cm)
from
all persons.
Never
transmit
if
any
person
is
closer than the
minimum
separation distance
to
the
antenna.
For antennas
with
higher
gain figures please
follow
the antenna manufacturer's
recommendation
for
minimum
safe separation distance
or
MPE distance.
