MARINE SETUP MODE - (continued)
From Marine Standby:
Push and hold Setup key for 3 seconds. (Enters Setup Mode)
LCD is cleared of all Icons except those relevant to each setup step.
KEY TONE ON / OFF
Keytone symbol "♫" and "ON" or "OFF" are flashing.
("ON" is the default setting)
Use channel UP or DOWN keys to change setting.
Note: This is a global setting (all radio modes).
Push Setup Key to save setting and move to the next setup item.
Marine Setup notes:
While in setup mode, if no action from user for 15 seconds, then SAVE and EXIT to standby.
When entering setup mode, the last saved value should be displayed.
Default settings are restored and displayed after a factory reset.
No signal reception in setup mode.
Other key definitions during Marine setup mode:
1) PTT - save settings and exit to Marine standby mode
2) DW- save settings, exit to Marine standby mode and start Dual Watch scan.
3) MEM/ESC - save settings, exit to Marine standby.
4) WX/HI/LO – Press and release or Press and hold to save settings, exit to Marine standby mode.
5) SCAN - save settings, exit to Marine standby mode.
6) 16 - save settings, exit to channel 16.
7) LIGHT/LOCK - turn ON/OFF back light - 10 seconds ON time.
