excessive wear on the
cutter heel.

Wrong gauge setting or
no gauge used.
Result
Rough cutting. Chain
grabs. Saw won't pull chain
through wood. Excessive
wear on the cutter heel.
Remedy
If depth ganges are too
low, the chain is no longer
serviceable.
