Tap interface
The Cochlear™ Kanso® 2 Sound Processor has a tap interface
for certain control functions.
The recipient can tap the processor when it is on or off the
implant.
To tap, the recipient needs to follow these guidelines:
Tap on the Cochlear logo.
Use quick, firm taps – don’t press.
Control Number of taps
Turn ON Double-tap – 2 taps
Turn OFF Triple-tap – 3 taps
Flight mode

Processor User Guide
Charge the processor
The Kanso 2 Sound Processor has an internal battery that needs
regular charging. We recommend fully charging the processor on
receipt.
To recharge the processor’s internal battery recipeints can:
place it in the Home Charger overnight for charging and
drying, or
attach it to the Portable Charger which can be worn on the
body.
The Portable Charger must be activated before first use by
connecting it to a power source or it will not charge the
processor.
Refer to the Cochlear Chargers User Guide for details.
WARNING
To charge the Kanso 2 Sound Processor:
Use Cochlear equipment only.
Do not use non-Cochlear equipment.
