Why is there no sound from the microphone on my Cocoon HE414118 Karaoke System?

If you're not getting any sound from the microphone, try these steps: * Increase the volume using the MIC VOL and master volume dial. * Make sure the microphone is switched to the ON position. * Ensure you are singing closely into the microphone (within 3cm). * Check that the microphone jack is securely connected to MIC 1 or MIC 2. * Verify that the echo dial isn't set too low.
