1. Keep thework areatidy.
- Cluttered and disorganised work areas pose anaccidentrisk.
2. Thework environment.
- Do not expose theproduct torain.
- Do not use theproduct in damp or wetareas.
- Make sure that thework area is well illuminated.
- Do not use theproduct in areas where combustible gases or liquids are stored
orused.
3. Guard against electric shocks.
- Avoid physical contact with earthed objects such as water pipes, radiators and
cookers.
4. Keep other people at asafe distance.
- Never permit persons, especially children, not involved in thework to touch
theproduct or its power supply cables. Keepunauthorised persons away from
theworkarea.
5. Storing theproduct.
- Products that are not in use should be kept locked away in adry place out of
children’sreach.
6. Do not overload theproduct.
- Thework will be performed better and more safely if theproduct is not overloaded.
7. Wear suitable clothing.
- Do not wear loose-fitting clothing or jewellery; they could be caught in movingparts.
- Wear non-slip footwear when working outdoors.
- Wear ahairnet or similar if you have longhair.
8. Use personal protective equipment.
- Wear eye protection.
- Wear arespirator or dust mask if theoperation will generate agreat deal ofdust.
