Instructions for use
Remember that thecompressor is intended for intermittent operation. Referto
thesection Product description.
1. Make sure that thepower switch (4) is set to theOFF position.
2. Plug themains lead into anearthed mains outlet.
3. Connect thedesired pneumatic accessory to theair outlet (8).
4. Set thepower switch to theON position.
5. Set thedesired working pressure using theknob (9).
After use
Depressurise thetank by pulling out thesafety valve before disconnecting
theattached accessory.
1. Turn off thecompressor and pull out theplug from themains outlet.
2. Depressurise thecompressor by pulling out thesafetyvalve.
3. Disconnect theattached accessory and wind themains lead around theholders (6).
Care and maintenance
• Unplug themains lead from themains outlet. Depressurise thecompressor by
pulling out thesafety valve and letting it cool down completely.
• Clean thecompressor using adampcloth. Useonly mild cleaning agents, never
solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• Check thesafety valve at regular intervals by pulling thespring-loadedring.
Ifthesafety valve is working properly (and thepressure tank is under pressure),
airshould seep out through thesafetyvalve.
• Under no circumstances may thesafety valve be tampered with or blocked.
• Perform avisual inspection at least once ayear to check that theinside and
outside of thepressure tank is free of corrosion. Underno circumstances must
thewall thickness of thepressure tank be less than 2mm.
• Make it ahabit to open thedrain tap regularly to release any trapped condensation
in thepressuretank. Depressurise thecompressor by pulling out thesafety valve
and letting it cool down completely before opening thedraintap.
• If thecompressor is not to be used for anextended period, unplug it from
themains, depressurise thetank by pulling out thesafety valve and drain thetank
using thedrain valve (11).
