3. Maintenance
While using the outboard motor, the periodic maintenance is necessary for you to ensure its
performance.
WARNING:
Be sure to turn off the engine when you perform maintenance unless otherwise specified. This
work should always be done by a qualified mechanic or your authorized dealer.
CAUTION:
If replacement parts are necessary, use only genuine parts or appropriate parts of the same type
and quality.
