If the burner on your Coleman Insect Control Equipment won't light, several factors could be at play. First, the gas pressure might be low, in which case you should turn the cylinder valve off and replace the cylinder. There may be air in the gas line; if so, allow about 20 seconds for the burner to light after connecting a new propane bottle. Another reason might be low gas pressure even with the cylinder valve fully open, indicating an empty cylinder that needs replacement. A failing igniter can also prevent lighting, so try replacing the AAA battery. Finally, if you're using a new 20 lb cylinder, improper purging could be the issue; try attaching the cylinder to another appliance like a grill to purge air from the line.
