CO

reactor manual
The Colombo CO
2
reactor set makes pure CO
2
from a chemical reaction. After the chemical reaction has taken place in the
cylinder the CO
2
gas is slowly and constantly released through a pressure regulator. The gas flow can be adjusted precisely
with the adjustment knob and integrated bubble counter. The gas flow can be stopped at night with the solenoid which is
included in the set.
Content:
1. Pressure regulator
2. Pressure gauge
3. Pressure relief valve
4. Hose connector
5. Bubble counter
6. Bubble counter base
7. Solenoid
8. Adjustment knob
9. Cable connector
10. Stainless steel cylinder
11. Moisture lter
12. Diusor
13. Hose
14. Hose clamp with suction cups
15. Non-return valve
16. Cylinder base
Warnings:
Do not add more water or components as indicated in the
instructions.
Do not remove pressure regulator when cylinder is under
pressure.
Do not shake bottle or hold upside down. The bottle must
be upright when in use.
Always keep the thread of the cylinder clean and avoid the
solenoid making contact with water.
The chemical reaction in the reactor produces CO
2
. As CO
2
is
heavier than air and has a suocating eect, prevent
breathing in the gas.
Keep out of the reach of children. This set is clearly not to be
used by children (<18 years) or persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge. This set is not a toy, so
unsuitable for children to use!
Do not throw the bottle and do not expose to temperatures
over 50°C!
Store the container in a well-ventilated room, not in a
cellar.
Transport bottles always completely empty!
Check every 90 days for corrosion by visual inspection of the
interior. Upon signs of corrosion, stop the use of the
product.
Remove this
label before
use!
Intended Use:
The Colombo CO
2
-reactor is intended to be used only by adults of 18 years or older.
This set is only to be used with original Colombo parts. Applying other parts or chemicals can lead to potentially dangerous situations.
It is important to add only one sachet of Colombo CO
2
reactor rells component A and one sachet component B.
This set is only to be used for supplying CO
2
gas to ornamental freshwater tanks. Other applications are not allowed and safe usage
cannot be guaranteed.
This set in only intended for indoor use under ambient temperatures (15-35°C)
This set in only intended for private use and not for commercial use.
Preperation:
Fit the hose to the bubble counter, the other
side of the hose is connected to the diusor.
The hose can be xed with the clamps using
the suction cups included in the set.
Position the diusor as deep as possible to
maximize the contact time between the CO
2
gas and the water which improves the
absorption of CO
2
gas in the water.
Remove the label from the regulator and
mount the moisture lter in the pressure
regulator.
