BATTERY INSTALLATION AND CHARGING
Refer to the instructions contained in the CBM module manual.
WARNINGS REGARDING PUMPED CHEMICALS
CAUTION
Store chemicals in a well-ventilated room with lockable door. Products must be inaccessible to children
and non-authorised persons. Place appropriate warning signs outside the room.
Carefully read the safety instructions and warnings on the packaging of chemical products in order
to take appropriate action to prevents hazards to persons or the environment. In particular, do not
exceed maximum recommended concentrations, prepare only the required quantity of product, and
do not disperse on soil or in water. Comply with any further legislative provisions that are required by
the local and/or national authorities of the country in which the machine is in operation.
In the event of contact with eyes, wash immediately with water. In the event of ingestion, do not induce
vomiting. Immediately seek medical advice, taking the chemical package with you. Do not inhale any
emitted gases.
Wear suitable protective clothing and keep children, unauthorised persons and persons not adequately
protected away at all times. No drinking, eating, or smoking.
At the termination of operations, wash hands and face carefully.
Wash all clothing that has come into contact with chemicals carefully. Any contaminated items must
be washed immediately.
Chemical product containers must be disposed of at recycling centres and, in all cases, in compliance
with the legislative provisions of the country where the machine is in operation.
FILLING THE TANK
CAUTION
Pay particular attention to the information in the section
“WARNINGS REGARDING PUMPED CHEMICALS”.
Filling must be carried out in such a way as to prevent product spillage on soil or in water.
Water may only be poured into the tank using free-falling or indirect water methods (jugs, buckets,
etc.). Filling hoses must never come into contact with the liquids contained in the tank. Do not connect
directly to the mains water drinking supply.
Do not allow the tank to overow and use only the quantity of product necessary for the treatment.
a) Unscrew the cap (2) counter-clockwise and check that the opening in its centre is not blocked.
b) Check that the lling lter (16) and the inside of the tank are clean.
c) Check that the knob (24) is correctly engaged and in the locked position (see also the section
“FILTER CLEANING”
).
d) Pour the chemical to be sprayed. It is suggested that the rst treatment is preceded with a test run using
pure water to check correct operation of the machine and to become familiar with its operation.
e) Close by gently turning the cap (2) clockwise.
OPERATION
CAUTION
Comply with the safety instructions for operation contained in the EVERFLO motor pump manual
and in the manual of the CBM module that is included on the machine.
During operation, avoid spraying chemicals in the vicinity of buildings, homes, public or private land,
gardens, roads, public or private bodies of water, or places frequented by people or animals. Spraying
treatment in the vicinity of the above-mentioned locations must be carried out in the absence of windy
