This document describes the Comfee CO-A101A(BK) Air Fryer Oven, a versatile kitchen appliance designed for various cooking functions including air frying, baking, broiling, warming, and toasting.
Function Description
The Comfee Air Fryer Oven combines the functionalities of an air fryer and a traditional oven. It utilizes a high-velocity fan and an upper heating element to circulate air, allowing for the preparation of a wide variety of foods that are both delicious and healthier than traditionally fried foods. The appliance is capable of:
- Air Frying: A healthy alternative to deep-frying, it allows for cooking with little to no oil, resulting in lighter and less greasy foods. A light spray of oil can enhance browning and crispiness. Most oils can be used, with olive oil preferred for richer flavor and vegetable, canola, or grapeseed oil for milder flavors. Various coatings like breadcrumbs, panko, crushed cornflakes, potato chips, graham crackers, flours (including gluten-free), and cornmeal can be used. For larger items or large quantities, flipping or tossing food halfway through the cooking cycle is recommended for even cooking and browning.
- Baking: The oven can be used for baking, with a recommended preheat time of 5 minutes.
- Broiling: It offers broiling functionality, but warns against using glass oven dishes and advises keeping an eye on food to prevent over-browning.
- Warming: The appliance can be set to a warming function to keep food at a desired temperature.
- Toasting: It can toast multiple items, with guidance on placement for even toasting.
The oven features three rack positions (top, middle, bottom) for flexibility in cooking. The Air Fryer Basket is designed with a grate to allow air circulation for even cooking and is typically placed in the middle rack position. The Baking/Drip Pan can be placed in any of the three rack positions and is essential for easy cleanup, especially when air frying greasy foods. A Removable Crumb Tray must always be in place underneath the bottom rack when the oven is in use.

Usage Features
The Comfee Air Fryer Oven is controlled via several knobs and a button on its front panel:
- POWER ON LIGHT: An indicator light that illuminates when the oven is in use.
- TIME MIN knob: Used to select and adjust the cooking time, ranging from 0 to 60 minutes. The mechanical timer should not be rotated frequently in both positive and negative directions. For settings less than 20 minutes, it's advised to turn the knob past 20 minutes and then back to the desired time. A clear ring indicates the end of the timing cycle, and the oven light turns off.

- Light Button: Pushes to turn on the interior oven light. This light will not function if the power is off.
Rack Positions: The oven has three rack positions: Position 1 (bottom), Position 2 (middle), and Position 3 (top). The Air Fryer Basket is typically used in Position 2. The Wire Rack can be used in all three positions. The Baking/Drip Pan can also be placed in any of the three rack positions.
First Use: Before initial use, it's recommended to unpack and remove all packaging materials, clean the oven according to the care instructions, and place it on a flat, stable, level surface 2 to 4 inches away from walls or other objects. A trial run in a well-ventilated area is suggested to burn off any protective substances from the heating elements, which may produce a small amount of smoke and odor.

Maintenance Features
- Cleaning:
- Unplug and allow the oven to cool completely before cleaning.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they will damage the finish.
- Wipe the exterior with a clean, damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Apply cleaning agent to a cloth, not directly onto the oven. Avoid excessive pressure on the control panel to prevent text removal.
- For interior walls and bottom (after removing the Crumb Tray), use a damp soapy cloth or sponge. Do not use harsh abrasives, corrosive products, or oven cleaner sprays, or steel wool pads, as these can damage surfaces.
- The Wire Rack, Baking/Drip Pan, Air Fryer Basket, and Removable Crumb Tray should be hand-washed in hot, sudsy water using a nylon scouring pad or brush. These parts are NOT dishwasher safe.
- Clean the Removable Crumb Tray after each use to prevent smoking and stubborn baked-on grease. Soaking in hot, sudsy water or using nonabrasive cleaners can help remove baked-on particles. Always ensure the Crumb Tray is in place when operating the oven.
- The Removal Tool (if applicable, though not explicitly listed in parts, implied by cleaning instructions) can be cleaned with a cloth or sponge in hot, sudsy water.
- Clean the top interior of the Air Fryer Oven to remove excess grease after cooking greasy foods to prevent smoking in subsequent uses.
