There
is
no
"quit"
command
in
ms-dos,
but
you
can
end
your
ms-dos
session
easily
by
following
these
steps:

Make
sure
that
your
last
command
is
finished.
You
should
see
the
ms-dos
prompt
(usually
A>)
on
the
screen.

Remove
the
floppy
disks
from
the
drives;
put
them
back
in
their
protective
jackets;
and
store
them
in
a
safe
place,
away
from
dust,
moisture,
and
magnetism.

then

at
the
end
of
this
chapter.
ms-dos
comes
with
a
program
named
diskcopy.exe
that
lets
you
copy
the
contents
of
disks.
You
need
not
format
your
blank
disks
before
you
use
the
diskcopy
command.
Making
a
backup
copy
of
your
ms-dos
master
disk
is
easy:

Start
ms-dos
with
the
ms-dos
master
disk
in
drive
A.

Make
sure
that
a
blank
disk
is
in
drive
B.

At
the
ms-dos
prompt,
type
the
