Some
of
the
ms-dos
commands
do
not
work
over
a
computer
network.
If
you
try
to
use
these
commands,
ms-dos
displays
the
error
message
"Cannot
command
to
a
network
device,"
where
command
is
the
name
of
the
command
you
typed.
If
the
command
does
not
work
over
a
network
(on
a
shared
or
remote
device),
you
will
see
this
symbol
in
the
command
description:

What

options?
Command

options,

values.
