END
statements

that
the

appears

STOP
is
used,

the
user
had
pressed
the

This
is
the
most
common
way
to
mix
a
BASIC
program
with
a
machine
language
program.
The
machine
language
program
begins
at
the
location
given
in
the
SYS
statement.
When
the
machine
language
instruction
RTS
(return
from
subroutine)
is
reached,
the
program
jumps
back
to
the
BASIC
program,
right
after
the
SYS
statement.
A
machine
language
program
can
be
POKEd
into
memory
from
BASIC
or
created
with
the
aid
of
EXAMPLE:
