Microsoft Windows 95
Limited support is provided for Microsoft Windows 95 OSR 2.1 on the Evo N400c family for
customers who require basic hardware enabling support under this operating system.
Hardware Functionality and Software Enhancements
Compaq software drivers and utilities for Windows 95 include:
• Compaq audio, video, and network drivers
• Compaq Easy Access Button and Hot Key Support software
IMPORTANT: Some portable computer features are not supported by Windows 95 and do not
function in the same manner as with Windows 98. With Windows 95, MultiPort and full USB are
not built into the OS. For additional information regarding USB and Windows 95/98, go to
http://www.microsoft.com/HWDEV/busbios/usbwin98.htm. Proper shutdown of Windows 95
prior to docking, undocking, or switching MultiBay devices is required.
