To remove the CD or DVD drive, complete
the following seven steps:

Perform preparation procedures

Remove the hood
3
Remove the fax/modem
CAUTION: If the fax/modem
is not removed before the
system board bracket, damage
may occur to the system
board.

Open the system board bracket
5
Disconnect the signal, power, and
audio cables from the CD or DVD
drive
