  If your Compass Accessories unit is powered via the 12V power supply but isn't working, and you've unplugged the cord, there are several potential causes: * The cigarette lighter plug may be polluted by ash, causing a bad connection. If the 12/24 V plug of the cooling appliance is overheating in the car lighter socket, it has to be cleaned, or 12/24 V socket was not properly installed. * The 12/24V plug fuse might be broken. Replace the fuse (5 A) of the 12V plug. * The car cigarette lighter fuse could be broken. Replace the fuse in your car with a new one (mostly 10 – 15 A; consult your car's documentation).
