Place legs on worksurface ends, ensuring outside corners are flush with leg corners.
Attach support bar 1/3 from worksurface front, fitting hat channels between surface and leg.
Attach mending plates to the surface where the return will be placed.
Attach the open frame leg to the end of the return.
Flip return upright, align free end with mending plates, and attach to open side.
