OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1.Placetheunitonastablesurfaceorfloortopreventitfromtippingover.Removetheentirefeedcordfromthe
storage space and uncoil it.
2. Connect the power cord plug to the wall outlet.
3.Selecttherequiredfunctionusingthemodeselector:
0= Off
= Cool air
=50%heatingcapacity(1,000W)
=Fullheatingcapacity(approximately2,000W)
4.Youmaysettherequiredtemperatureintheroomusingthethermostatregulator.Whenheatingfunction
orisselected,theunitwillalternatelyswitchonandoff,thuskeepingtherequiredtemperature.
Note:Amoreaccuratetemperaturecanbesetasfollows:
Setthethermostattothemaximum,andswitchtheheatingtoor.Whentherequiredtemperaturehas
been reached in the room, turn the thermostat slowly to a lower temperature, until the unit switches off.
Ifyouusethefaninthecoolairmode,setthethermostatregulatortothemaximum.
5.Afteruse,movethemodeselectortothe0positionandunplugtheunitfromthemains.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Warning!
Before cleaning the unit, always disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet!
Prior to handling, make sure the unit has cooled down!
The surface of the unit may only be cleaned using a wet cloth. Do not use any detergents or hard objects, as they may
damagetheunit’ssurface!
The air inlet andoutletgrillesshouldbecleanedfrequentlytoensureproperoperationoftheunitandtoavoid
overheating.
Dust accumulated in the unit may be blown out or removed by a vacuum cleaner.
Never clean the unit under running water, do not rinse it, and do not submerge it in water!
TROUBLESHOOTING
Theunitisequippedwithasafetyfusethatcutsothepowersupplytotheheater,andrestoresitafteritcoolsdown.
Ifthishappensinthecourseofordinaryoperation,checkthecleanlinessoftheinletandoutletgrilles,orchange
location of the unit to improve the air circulation in and around the unit.
Caution
Whenturningtheunitonforthersttimeorafteraprolongeddowntimetheunitmayemitaslightodour.Thisodour
will vanish after a short time.
Note: Do not use the unit in rooms smaller than 4 m
2

1. Place the unit on a stable surface or oor to prevent it from tipping over. Remove the entire feed cord from the
storage space and uncoil it.
2. Connect the power cord plug to the wall outlet.
3. Select the required function using the mode selector:
4. You may set the required temperature in the room using the thermostat regulator. When heating function (1) or
(2) is selected, the unit will alternately switch on and o, thus keeping the required temperature.
Note: A more accurate temperature can be set as follows:
Set the thermostat to the maximum, and switch the heating to (1) or (2) . When the required temperature
has been reached in the room, turn the thermostat slowly to a lower temperature, until the unit switches o.
If you use the fan in the cool air mode , set the thermostat regulator to the maximum.
5. After use, move the mode selector to the (0) position and unplug the unit from the mains.
0 = O
= Cool air
1 = 50% heating capacity (750 W )
2 = Full heating capacity (approximately 1500 W ).
