2.3.2 Battery unit installation and battery charging
Connect as following:
1. Connect the charger to the Battery connector.
2. Plug the charger into a main power supply. The charger can be connected to main
voltages between 100 and 240 Volts.
3. Fast charge takes about 4 hours. When the charge indication on the charger ashes
slowly (trickle charge), the battery is fully charged. When the sealer is used for the rst
time, or if it has not been used for a while, the battery must be charged for 24 hours.
We also recommend a 12-hour charge once a month for best performance.
4. To install the Battery, slide the Secondary Battery Latch to the right, slide the Battery
into the device, when the rear of the Battery reaches the Secondary Battery Latch, the
Latch can be released, then push the Battery in completely until the Primary and
Secondary Battery Latches click into their latched positions.
To remove the Battery, slide the Secondary Battery Latch to the right, then pinch to-
gether the Primary Battery Latches, slide the Battery out of the device and then release
the Secondary Battery Latch.
Caution! Ensure that all parts are connected before turning the power on.
Caution! To prevent possible damage to the device or the battery, never drop the bat-
tery into the device.
