Locate and connect the charger, and allow a full charge. Devices may arrive pre-charged or need several hours before first use.
Press and hold the power button to turn on the display. Swipe up across the center display to unlock the device.
Swipe up to access SETTINGS, select Network & Internet, choose your WiFi network, and enter your access key.
Touch the icon to start the live TEXT display. SCRIPT deciphers speech up to 3m away; use a remote microphone for quieter voices.
Use the power button on the top right to switch SCRIPT into standby mode. A short press will turn it on again later.

Plug the Director HD microphone into the SCRIPT headset socket. Turn SCRIPT OFF and ON again to recognize the connection.
When plugged in, the neck loop is disconnected. A second Receiver is needed to listen to the same HD Microphone sound.
Check WiFi and Internet settings; ensure the signal is strong. Test internet connection with another device on the WiFi.
Turn SCRIPT OFF and ON after plugging in the accessory lead. Re-select EXTERNAL microphone in Audio menu if needed.
