Water Tank: The water tank should be emptied after each use to prevent water stagnation. To clean the tank, remove it from the main unit, rinse it with clean water, and allow it to air dry completely.
Descaling: Regular descaling is essential to maintain optimal performance and extend the lifespan of the device, especially in areas with hard water. The frequency of descaling depends on water hardness and usage. To descale, mix a solution of water and white vinegar (1:1 ratio) or a commercial descaling agent. Pour the solution into the water tank and let it sit for a few hours or overnight. Then, run the steamer until the tank is empty, ensuring the solution passes through the internal components. Rinse the tank and run clean water through the steamer several times to remove any residue.
Cleaning the Nozzle and Hose: The steam nozzle and hose should be wiped clean with a damp cloth after each use. If the nozzle becomes clogged with mineral deposits, use a small brush or a toothpick to clear the openings.
Storage: Before storing, ensure the device is completely cool and dry. Empty the water tank and clean all components. The power cord can be wrapped around the cord storage compartment (10) for neat storage. The device should be stored in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
