  If your Cooper & Hunter Air Conditioner doesn't turn on when you press the ON/OFF button, it might be due to a few reasons: * The unit has a 3-minute protection feature to prevent overloading. If you've just turned it off, wait three minutes before trying again. * For cooling and heating models, if the Operation light and PRE-DEF indicators are on, the outdoor temperature might be too cold, and the unit is defrosting. Wait until the outdoor temperature is more suitable. * In cooling-only models, if the “Fan Only” indicator is lit, the unit's anti-freeze protection may be activated due to low outdoor temperature. Wait until the outdoor temperature rises.
