the power supply when there is no battery pack in the cavity. Unplug charger before attempting
to clean.
• CAUTION!: Never attempt to open the battery pack for any reason. If the plastic housing of the
battery pack breaks or cracks, return to a service centre for recycling, Stop using device
immediately.
TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
POTENTIAL SOLUTION
The Hedge Trimmer does not start
Check the battery is correctly connected to
the battery holder.
Check the battery is fully charged.
Check the safety switch is pressed
simultaneously with the trigger.
The Hedge Trimmer does not reach full
power
Recharge the battery.
The air vents are blocked and need to be
cleaned.
The battery does not charge correctly
Check the power socket is working
correctly and turned on and charger is
connected to a mains power socket.
Check the battery is correctly connected to
the charger.
The red LED indicator shows the battery is
correctly connected.
Move charger and battery pack to a
location where the ambient temperature is
approximately 18-24C.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
• Always ensure the battery is disconnected before cleaning.
• Use a brush or stick to remove debris from the blades. Do not use hands.
• Clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
• Clean the air vents with a brush or cloth after each use.
• Check regularly for damage or wear. Ensure that locking knobs remain secure and tighten if
necessary.
• Do not use if damaged. No user serviceable parts.
• Periodically apply a small amount of lubricant along the edge of the blades.
