SAFETY
●Handle glass with great care.
Although the glass is very tough, sharp impacts can damage both the glass and metal frame.
●Make sure there are no hidden pipes or cables hidden in the wall where you intend to drill.
●Wear safety goggles, shoes and appropriate clothing.
BEFORE INSTALLATION
●Check that the shower tray is level in all directions. The enclosure will not sit correctly on an uneven surface.
If uneven, the wall channels may not fit and the doors may not shut correctly.
●The enclosure should be fitted on tiled walls which are sealed with waterproof grout.
There must be a good silicone seal between the rim of the shower tray and the wall.
●The shower tray and the enclosure must match in size. Attempting to fit the incorrect size of enclosure to
the shower tray will result in water leaks.
●Always check very carefully that components are vertical.
●To avoid damage, use the opened out packaging to build the enclosure on.

The sliding mechanism allows for space-saving operation compared to hinged doors. The enclosure is designed to be fitted on tiled walls with waterproof grout and requires a good silicone seal between the shower tray rim and the wall to prevent leaks.

  • Glass: Although tough, sharp impacts can damage it. Handle with great care. A glass coating has been applied to the product.

Usage Features:

  • Sliding Door Operation: The enclosure features double sliding doors that run on top and bottom rails. The top wheels may require adjustment to ensure the doors slide freely and the magnetic seals meet evenly when closed. Adjustments are made by turning an adjuster screw under each top wheel from outside the enclosure until the doors hang vertically.
  • Door Handles: Handles are fitted to the doors using allen bolts from the inside. Rubber washers must be placed between the handles and the glass to prevent damage; avoid overtightening.
  • Bumpers: The doors are equipped with top and bottom bumpers. These can be adjusted by loosening a screw, moving the rubber bumper as required, and then re-tightening. Cover caps (PN4745) are then pushed into place.
  • Flexible Installation: The enclosure can be assembled with the side panel on either the right or left, allowing adaptation to different bathroom layouts.
  • Sealing: Silicone sealant is applied from the outside only, along the bottom of the enclosure and 50mm up the wall channels and vertical joints, to ensure a watertight seal.

Maintenance Features:

  • Cleaning: Use warm soapy water and a clean cloth to clean the enclosure, then rinse off.
  • Prohibited Cleaning Agents: Do NOT use bleach, scouring powders, solvents, or other aggressive cleaning agents, as these can damage the product.
  • Glass Coating: The product features a glass coating. To maintain its effectiveness and remove water and debris, use a squeegee regularly.
  • Fixings Check: Periodically check all fixings and tighten them if necessary to ensure the enclosure remains secure and stable.
  • Post-Installation Wait Time: It is crucial not to use the shower for 24 hours after installation to allow the silicone sealant to cure properly.

Safety Precautions during Installation:

  • Handle glass with great care.
  • Ensure no hidden pipes or cables are in the wall where drilling is planned.
  • Wear safety goggles, shoes, and appropriate clothing.
  • Check that the shower tray is level in all directions before installation; an uneven surface will prevent correct fitting and door closure.
  • The enclosure must be fitted on tiled walls sealed with waterproof grout.
  • A good silicone seal is required between the shower tray rim and the wall.
  • The shower tray and enclosure must match in size to prevent leaks.
  • Always check that components are vertical.
  • Use opened-out packaging to build the enclosure on to prevent damage.
  • The supplied screws and wall plugs are for masonry walls; use appropriate fixings for lightweight walls (e.g., stud partition, plasterboard).
  • When drilling, use masking tape on the wall to prevent the drill bit from slipping.
  • Do not drill too deep when fixing into fixed panels or side panels.
  • Two people are advised for hanging the doors to avoid damaging runners, rails, or doors.

Recycling Information:

  • Packaging: Cardboard and polythene parts of the packaging are recyclable.
  • End of Life: The product contains recyclable materials such as aluminium and glass. Contact your local authority for recycling information.
