4. GENERAL NOTES ON INSTALLATION AND
THE MANUAL
This installation and operating manual is intended to provide help for fault-free
installation and safe, reliable operation of the device.
The manual fulfils the following tasks:
o Ensuring fault-free installation and assembly.
o Preventing hazards for the installer and operator.
o Familiarization with the device.
o Ensuring optimum function.
o Timely detection and rectification of faults.
o Preventing disturbances due to incorrect use and operation.
o Preventing unscheduled downtimes and repairs.
o Increasing device reliability and service life.
o Preventing hazards for the environment.
This installation and operating manual is intended for trained and expert persons with
previous know-how and experience in the installation of thermal heating systems. All
electrical installation work must be carried out authorized and suitably qualified
persons, who will also assume reliability.
COSMO GmbH accepts no liability for damage resulting from non-observance of this
manual. Apart from the instructions in this manual, all national rules and regulations
applicable in the user's country must be observed (accident prevention, environmental
protection, occupational health & safety, etc.).
4.1 About this manual
Before using the device, all technicians and fitters involved in installation and operation
of the device must have read this manual carefully, and must observe the instructions
contained in it. The manual must be handed over to the pump's owner/operator, who
must keep it near the device.
5. ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
5.1 Description
This installation and operating manual describes the models CPH 2.0.The respective
model type is indicated on the packaging and on the type label.
5.1.1 Design type
COSMO CPH 2.0 high-efficiency pumps are compact circulation pumps that are used
in central water heating systems according to VDI 2035.
CPH 2.0 pumps are used to circulate:
– Water in heating and air conditioning systems.
– Water in industrial hydraulic installations.
