Why is there no power on my COUNTRY SMOKERS Grill control board?
    • R
      Ronald LyonsAug 18, 2025
If there are no power lights on the control board, several issues could be the cause. First, ensure the Temperature Control Dial is set to a temperature. Check that the unit is properly plugged into a working power source and reset the breaker. Confirm the GFCI is a minimum 10 Amp service. Also, verify all wire connections are secure and dry. The fuse on the control board might be blown, requiring manual replacement. In addition, ensure GFCI is a minimum 10 Amp service. Lastly, the control board itself may be faulty, requiring replacement; contact Customer Service for assistance.

What to do if the fire pot won't light in my COUNTRY SMOKERS CS150PPG Grill?
    • C
      christopher75Aug 20, 2025
If the fire pot in your grill won't light, it could be due to several reasons. First, the auger may not be primed, especially if it's the first use or the hopper was emptied. Follow the Hopper Priming Procedure. The auger motor could also be jammed; inspect the auger feed system to confirm pellets are dropping into the fire pot. If not, contact Customer Service. An igniter failure could also be the reason; check if the igniter is working by feeling for heat above the fire pot and ensure it protrudes about 13mm / 0.5 inches into the fire pot. If it's not working, follow the Manual Start-up Procedure and contact Customer Service. Lastly, insufficient airflow due to ash build-up or obstructions in the fire pot or a blocked fan could be the cause; follow the Care and Maintenance instructions.

How to fix unstable temperature on my COUNTRY SMOKERS Grill?
    • J
      Jared FuentesAug 23, 2025
If your grill isn't maintaining a stable temperature, check for these potential issues: Ensure sufficient airflow by clearing any ash build-up or obstructions in the fire pot, verifying the fan is working correctly, and confirming no blockages in the auger tube. Check the fuel: ensure the hopper has enough pellets and that the pellet quality is good, without obstructions in the feed system. Also, inspect the temperature probe; if it's dirty, follow the Care and Maintenance instructions. If the probe is damaged, contact Customer Service for a replacement. Once all the above steps have been done, start the grill, set temperature to SMOKE and wait for 10 minutes. Check that the flame produced is bright and vibrant.

What does the "ErH" error code mean on my COUNTRY SMOKERS Grill?
    • B
      Brent Peterson DVMAug 26, 2025
The "ErH" error code indicates that the unit has overheated, possibly due to a grease fire or excess fuel. To resolve this, turn the grill off and allow it to cool down. Follow the Care and Maintenance instructions. After maintenance, remove the pellets, and confirm the correct positioning of all component parts. Once cooled, turn the unit back on and select the desired temperature. If the error code persists, contact Customer Service.

Why is my COUNTRY SMOKERS CS150PPG producing excess or discolored smoke?
    • B
      Brittany FernandezAug 28, 2025
Excess or discolored smoke can be caused by grease build-up (follow Care and Maintenance instructions), poor wood pellet quality (replace moist pellets with dry ones after cleaning the hopper), a blocked fire pot (clear ash and debris, following the Hopper Priming Procedure), or insufficient air intake for the fan (ensure the fan is working and not blocked, following Care and Maintenance instructions if dirty).

What causes frequent flare-ups in my COUNTRY SMOKERS CS150PPG Grill?
    • R
      Robyn Rollins MDAug 30, 2025
Frequent flare-ups can be caused by cooking at too high a temperature; try cooking at a lower temperature, keeping it under 176°C / 350°F when cooking greasy foods. Another cause is grease build-up on cooking components; follow the Care and Maintenance instructions.

    • A
      alyssamillerSep 1, 2025
The "noP" error code can be due to a bad connection at the connection port (disconnect and reconnect the meat probe, ensuring it's firmly connected and checking for damage), a damaged meat probe (check the probe wires for damage), or a faulty control board (which needs replacement by Customer Service).

      Emily ZamoraSep 9, 2025
The "ErP" error code indicates that the unit was not turned off properly when last connected to power. This safety feature prevents an automatic restart. To resolve this, press the Power Button to turn the unit off, wait two minutes, then press the Power Button to turn the unit on again. Turn the Temperature Control Dial to SMOKE or your desired temperature. If the error code continues to display, contact Customer Service.
