Exterior Component Removal and Installation
COLLAR INSULATION REMOVAL
To remove the collar insulation, first uninstall the unit.
REMOVE THE COLLAR INSULATION
Remove the four cabinet spacer clips (if present).
Remove the rubber bands.
TIP: The rubber bands become brittle and break.
After initial installation, the rubber bands do not
need to be replaced.
Remove the collar insulation.
COLLAR INSULATION INSTALLATION
INSTALL THE COLLAR INSULATION
Install the collar insulation.
Install the cabinet spacer clips (for 24" wide
installations).
TOP AND SIDE INSULATION REMOVAL
To remove the top and side insulation, first uninstall the
unit.
REMOVE THE TOP AND SIDE INSULATION
Remove the insulation piece that covers the top and
sides.
TOP AND SIDE INSULATION INSTALLATION
INSTALL THE TOP AND SIDE INSULATION
Install the top and side insulation onto the unit.
Secure the insulation with rubber bands.
